2005 Ellerslie Flower Show

I designed and created an “out-a-space” design for my client, Inplants NZ Ltd.  This was based on the music from ‘War of The Worlds’ theme and featured space ships, aliens and new and unusual plants and flowers just ‘landed’ and never seen before in NZ. 

Gold Award
2006 Ellerslie International Flower Show

I created a large Floral Art Installation with the theme of Global Remembrance.  The floral arrangements contained peace lily’s and the acrylic screens had letters found in our old homestead from soldiers (relatives) from the second world war.  These soldiers never came home.  This creation, as well as being beautiful to look at, also captured great emotion and was extremely well received by the viewers.

NZ Sign & Display Awards 

I designed and created giant, oversized 'Pacifica flowers' in a giant masonry urn – this stood over 4 metres high. 'Pacifica Flowers' was used as a landmark meeting point at the Ellerslie Flower show for several years.
