I have over 20 years experience in Event Décor and overall Concept Design of large and small Events alike. You may know me as CleverDesign – where we do not only themed events but also promotional and window displays. Clever events is the part of CleverDesign that specialises in developing original event ideas and event that make your event unique.
I have themed many, many events from the Roaring 20s to Arabian Nights to a Winter Wonderland – from Viva Las Vegas, to Kiwiana.
My previous clients include Gallaghers, Waikato Stadium, Genesis Energy, KPMG, Sky City, Fonterra, NDA, The Waikato Chamber of Commerce, Waikato University, Harcourts, Mighty River Power, Hamilton City Council (including the World Rowing) who are based in the Waikato and Auckland.

Ideas
My head is full of them. I am a creative person, ideas and original concepts and original ideas is what I do. I am continally dreaming up party theme ideas and unique party props (which are often personally manufactured). Props
Exquisite candelabra, chandeliers, fairylight curtain walls, Greek gods, topiaries, roman archway, garden archways, atmospheric room lighting, butterflies and even a few props from Xena Warrior Princess – I have an enormous number of props which I have collected, built, purchased, been given, found and recreated over the years. I have great relationships with many suppliers and can source whatever you need. Or, if they don’t have exactly what you need, then I can design and build it myself.
